Dr. Pam Smith

Educator - National Trainer - Keynote Speaker

Pam is forever a teacher and forever a learner. She’s known since she was 6 years old that she was going to be in a classroom forever! Her inspiration? Her teachers, of course.

Pam realized during her first year of teaching that the only way to improve the school experience for every student was to improve her professional practice. She also learned that student achievement directly correlates with student engagement. As Pam’s time in the classroom led her to a leadership position, her passion for professional learning increased. That quest for improved professional practice then included each and every adult in her school, her district, and beyond.

See, Pam’s philosophy is simple…it really is all about the kids. Every decision…every dollar spent…everything! If we want more for our students, then we have to invest in the adults in the building. Professional learning is the gateway for increased capacity for success. If you want students to get fired up about learning, then you have to lead and inspire teachers to learn the best, most effective practices for sparking that fire!

Dr. Pam Smith is the founder and President of Lead Me To Learning. She is an experienced classroom teacher and administrator who is passionate about professional learning and its impact on student learning. Pam’s mission is to arm teachers and administrators with what they need to grow and inspire independent, engaged students.
